Users who are modify permitted can edit facts. Changes are saved in a new version (see chapter "Version control system").
In order to edit content, proceed as follows:
(1) Log in.
(2) Now, you have two possibilities:
(a) Open the folder where the fact you want to edit is located and
highlight the fact by clicking in the checkbox on the right side.
(b) Open the fact you want to edit.
(3) Depending on which option you chose in step 2, proceed as follows:
(a) Click on "edit" at the bottom of the list.
(b) Click on "edit" next to the title of the fact. Alternatively, you can click on "edit" in the options area (left column).
(4) Enter the changes in the Input mask.
While you are editing a fact you have the possibility to save your changes by clicking on the respective button at the bottom of the input mask. If you click on the button, a so-called "edit version" is created. This means the changes have been saved but are only visible to you. You can continue to edit anytime. For further information see chapter "Edit version".
(5) Choose the permissions.
(6) Click on the "Preview" button to check your input.
(a) If you want to change anything, click on "edit" next to the fact title or in the options area.
(b) If you are satisfied with the preview, click on "publish".
If a fact has been updated, it is still possible to refer to old versions. When you create a link you can decide if you want to refer to a certain version or always to the most recent one. For further information see chapter "Create links".
