Permissions for facts
 

What are permissions?
Permissions control who is able to view, edit and delete facts.


When are permissions assigned?
Permissions for facts are assigned when creating and editing content.


Where are permissions assigned?

After clicking on the "next>>" button in the input mask, a group overview is opened. There you can specify the permissions. Usually, a pre-selection is offered which you can accept or adjust.

In order to assign permissions, proceed as follows:


(1)
On the left side, all available groups are displayed. If you click on a name, a window opens. There you can see a short description of the group as well as the number of users who have been assigned to the group. For further information on platform groups, see chapter "Group function".

(2) In order to assign permissions to groups, you need to click in the respective checkboxes.

(3) In the legend, each icon is described. For detailed explanation on permissions, see chapter "Permissions".

Pre-selection: The preselection offered for the permissions is determined by your P-Admin. If you create a fact in structure, the permissions of the folder will be suggested as permissions for the fact.
