The FCS permission system and its hierarchy

To be able to run a FCS platform, people with three different levels of privileges are needed. In order to better understand and operate these FCS functions, we would like to begin by giving you a short explanation:

  1. The System administrator ("s-admin") defines for each platform one or more Platform Administrators.
  2. Platform administrator ("p-admin") specify which groups of users have access and creation rights for the particular services
  3. Users can read and create facts for which they have to set read and modify permissions.

S-Admin = factline If factline acts as the application service provider (ASP), the system runs on a server powered by factline. In this case, factline takes over the tasks of the S-Admin.
