The following chapters will show you how to create content on an FCS platform.

Two alternatives...

There are two possibilities to create content, called facts. However, not all users have access to both alternatives.

Alternative 1 - Service filing
The heart of an FCS platform are the so-called "" which allow you to publish content. All facts of a specific service are stored in separate service filings or repositories (see chapter "").  These repositories can be accessed via the main menu or the service box in the options area (left column).

It is possible to create facts directly in the service filings. All necessary steps are described in detail in the chapter "Create content - alternative 1".

In a second step, you can place a new fact in one ore more folder(s). In order to do so, a shortcut needs to be created. For further information, see chapter "Create shortcuts".

Possibility 2 - Structure
If you use this alternative, your starting point is a folder in structure. In other words, you create content in a specific folder.

All necessary steps are described in detail in the chapter "Create content - alternative 2".

If you use possibility two, the original fact is automatically stored in the respective service filing. The folder merely contains a shortcut to the original.
